Support and privacy questions
For a technical issue, please include the details listed under Reporting a problem. Never send passwords or complete playlist or stream addresses.
Requirements
- An Apple TV running tvOS 18.6 or later.
- An Xtream Codes account or M3U playlist from a provider you are authorized to use.
Set up a source
- On first launch, choose Set Up Manually.
- Choose Xtream Codes or M3U Playlist.
- Enter the details provided by your service.
You can add and manage more sources in Settings > Sources. Prefer HTTPS addresses when your provider offers them. An HTTP address can work, but the connection is not encrypted.
Connection problems
Check the address and credentials supplied by your provider. Open Settings > Sources, choose the source, and review Source Health. After correcting the connection details, refresh the source.
Playback problems
Try another title from the same source. This helps show whether the problem affects the whole source or a single stream.
Settings > Playback lets you choose Standard or Compatibility playback. Compatibility playback uses the included VideoLAN framework, which handles MKV files. Whether a stream plays still depends on its video and audio formats, subtitles, DRM, and any restrictions set by the provider, not only on its file extension.
Find your app version
Open Settings > About in Vodario. To find your tvOS version, open the Apple TV Settings app and choose General > About.
Reporting a problem
Include:
- The Vodario version from Settings > About.
- Your Apple TV model and tvOS version.
- What you were doing, and the steps that make the problem happen.
- The error message shown, if any.
Do not include:
- Passwords or other account credentials.
- Complete playlist, guide, or stream addresses.
- Screenshots that show account details. Hide them before sending a screenshot.
We never need your provider password to look into a general app issue.
TestFlight testers
On Apple TV, open TestFlight, select Vodario, and open Information to find the developer’s feedback email address. Use that address to report beta issues.
Privacy and notices
Read the privacy policy to learn what information Vodario handles. Third-party software notices, including VideoLAN’s TVVLCKit license, are on the acknowledgments page.
